Fox
According to The Futon Critic, the network has passed on commissioning further instalments of Joss Whedon's sci-fi series, but is yet to make a decision on the future of the programme.
Fox scheduling head Preston Beckman recently confirmed that it planned on airing the full second season, despite its less-than-impressive ratings.
"We're going to run all the episodes," he told The Hollywood Reporter. "We're not saying we're happy with those numbers, or accept them, but we don't have to overreact... We plan on completing the order for this show."
After a November hiatus, Dollhouse returns to Fox in December with back-to-back episodes. Season two returns in January on Sci Fi in the UK.
The show's fate is expected to be decided sometime next year.
