The second season finale sees Betty, played by America Ferrera, appear to make a decision between Henry (Christopher Gorham) and Gio (Freddy Rodriguez).
However, Gorham was last week cast in new CBS horror drama Harper's Island, about a group thrown together at a destination wedding off the Seattle coast.
Meanwhile, Rodriguez is expected to return to Betty for a maximum of one episode, suggesting the title character will opt to look for romance elsewhere.
