'Ugly Betty' filming to move to New York
Published Wednesday, May 7 2008, 15:05 BST | By Dave West

The pilot of the comedy drama was made in New York but work was then moved to Los Angeles to save money.
However, both New York state and city authorities have recently increased the rate of tax credit for film and television production work.
The move will not present a problem to the show's cast as most are from New York City, while the writers are expected to remain in LA.
ABC Studios, which makes the show, hopes to find posts on other projects for about 150 crew staff who will lose their roles with Betty.
Filming for the third season is scheduled to start in July.
