There's no time to lose, so they're off, trailed closely by Trey & Lexi. Once at the travel agent, they discover that the earliest flight to Bangladesh is at 10am, which means every team is on that same flight, giving the stragglers a bit of a helping hand. In order to get to their destination, they travel via Singapore and arrive some time in the afternoon. Once out of the airport, there's a bit of chaos as the teams try to find a taxi. Rob & Kelley, however, have managed to book a taxi at the stand set up within the airport, which seems like a smart move.
Trey & Lexi become frustrated when their taxi driver stops for gas, while Will & Gary are worried that their taxi driver's gone astray. Rob & Kelley's has actually done so - they end up at a landfill. Abbie & Ryan keep their first place position by arriving at the auto repair shop first, and are followed by Natalie & Nadiya. Once there, they discover the roadblock - they'll need to help repair one of the 15,000 buses that travel the streets of Dhaka daily. To do this, they'll need to use a putty to fill in the damage and then sand it down to be ready for painting. They've also got to remove three pairs of seats and deliver them to the refurbishing area, where they'll pick up their next clue.
The Chippendales show up soon after and everyone gets started. Each of the teams have been given a Fast Forward to use, but they decide against it - at least these three have. Rob & Kelley turn up and get to work, but when it comes to James & Abba, they think the Fast Forward is the way to go. This task requires them to play rat catching assistants to a city pest control agent, filling a bag with dead rats collected from three different locations. Once completed, that means they can skip the rest of the challenges and head directly to the pit stop.
Ryan & Abbie get their putty done first, but their clue is ruined. For help, they team up with the Chippendales - they show Ryan their clue in exchange for help finishing with their putty. An alliance could be a good thing, though they tend to change rather quickly in this game. However, Ryan's help isn't much use - James has to start again with his putty when it turns up full of crevices and he is not happy about it. Abbie manages to calm him down and he eventually gets it together.
Meanwhile, James & Abba have reached their first location and collected their rats, so it's on to the next one. This might prove to be a good move for them, as they're not at all phased by it. At the auto repair shop, Natalie & Nadiya's constant shouts of encouragement to one another are getting on the other teams' nerves, with Ryan calling their voices like "nails on a chalk board". I don't know, they've sort of grown on me!
Abbie & Ryan keep their first place position after Ryan gets the bus seats out first. They receive their next clue, to head to Kawran Bazar Shootkir Market, searching for a particular shop. Once there, they'll need to sort through a massive bag of smelly dried fish to find a coloured one, which can be exchanged for their next clue. Rob & Kelley are in second place, followed by Natalie & Nadiya.
At the market, Abbie & Ryan find the coloured fish pretty quickly and receive their next clue. It's a detour, and they'll need to "pound down" one of two natural resources used in the country for centuries - metal (using sledge hammers to beat a hot iron rod into a sharp spike) or cotton (making a mattress by beating clumps with bamboo rods, stuffing it into fabric and sewing it closed). Abbie decides to go for the cotton since she went to fashion school, apparently. Her training pays off - they make quick progress.
Natalie & Nadiya are going the metal route, as with Rob & Kelley. Across town, James & Abba have picked up their last set of rats and are accompanied by a nice little parade of child admirers. Their task is over, so they get to proceed to this week's pit stop - Shyambazar Chan Mia Ghat. They're in a taxi, and while there, James takes the time to pour a bunch of sanitizer over his foot since he stepped in a massive pile of open sewage and is worried about what he may have exposed himself to.
Trey & Lexi's cab breaks down on the way to the market, letting Gary & Will pass them by and putting them in last place - not a good thing. They eventually get going again, though it remains to be seen whether it will pay off. The twins and Rob & Kelley finish their task and get to make their way to the pit stop. It won't be easy, of course. They've got to go by taxi to a dock to take a river boat downriver. Upon disembarking, they head to the pit stop by foot.
Already there, James & Abba have checked in first at the pit stop and win a week-long holiday to Antigua with luxury accommodation, sailing, spa treatments and more. Abbie & Ryan have finished their blanket as well, and get to head to the pit stop along with the others. The Chippendales and the goat farmers are just getting started on it. Across the city, the twins and Abbie & Ryan have made it onto the first riverboat down. Abbie & Ryan check in second, followed by Natalie & Nadiya, so they're all safe for another week. Rob & Kelley make it to the pit stop fourth, but Phil reveals that they were meant to take the boat to Swarghat and make it to the market by foot. Therefore, they'll have to go back and complete the course before they can check in. Josh & Brent actually take the fourth place.
Finally, Rob & Kelley end up coming in fifth, followed by James & Jaymes. Trey & Lexi make it seventh and finally, Gary & Will turn up last and are eliminated from the race. "I would never trade this experience for anything in the world. The Amazing Race was the most amazing experience," Will says following their exit.
The Amazing Race airs Sundays at 8/7c on CBS.
