NBC's 'Got Talent' tops Fox's 'SYTYCD'

America's Got Talent pipped So You Think You Can Dance in the ratings on Wednesday night, according to early overnight data.

NBC lured 10.13m for the talent contest's second instalment, losing around 2.1m on the previous night. Beforehand, a catch-up of Losing It With Jillian logged 3.35m on the network, while at 10pm, a rerun of Law & Order: SVU interested 6.38m.

Over on Fox, the "incredible" contestants of So You Think You Can Dance appealed to 7.32m between 8pm and 10pm. Peaking with 8m at 8.30pm, the show was hit by Got Talent's Dallas auditions in the 9pm hour.

Reruns of The Middle brought in 4.96m and 5.08m in the 8pm hour for ABC, after which repeats of Modern Family and Cougar Town put in 4.92m and 3.68m. At 10pm, Happy Town drew a dismal 2.76m.

Elsewhere in primetime, repeats of How I Met Your Mother, Rules Of Engagement, Criminal Minds and CSI: NY averaged 4.53m, 4.62m, 8.06m and 8.6m for CBS. Meanwhile, repeats of America's Next Top Model delivered 1.28m and 1.54m to The CW.
