Howie explains that the acts have been split into three groups - A, B and C - depending on their chances of moving on to Hollywood.
Group A are the judges' favourites and will all perform again today. Sharon tells Group B that after reviewing the tapes they decided their acts weren't as good as Group A. That means Group B will only get a shot at Hollywood if there are spaces left after Group A.
Piers tells Group C they are going straight to Hollywood! The ten acts getting a free pass to the next round are:

- Polina Volchek - Hula hooping performance artist
- Strikers All Stars - Dance group
- Cheer SF - Cheerleading squad
- Hasbop - Street performer
- Future Funk - Child singing duo
- Da Maniacs - Dance group
- ArcAttack - Technological performance group
- Fighting Gravity - Performance group
- South Philly Vikings - Dance group
The acts from Group A then perform again for the judges while Group B watch. Among the acts who secure a ticket to Hollywood are:

The first day in Las Vegas saw 27 acts scooping tickets to Hollywood, meaning that the standby performers will be given the chance to win the remaining 11 tickets on tonight's show when this season's Top 48 will be unveiled.
