Here's what the panel had to say about some of the acts:
Hershae Chocolatae: The drag queen singer impersonates Macy Gray before erupting into a dance routine which earns uproarous cheers from the audience but a "no" from Piers. Howie loves her impression and Sharon describes it as "amazing", admitting that she loves the act's "confidence" and ability to light up the stage. Piers doesn't get it and isn't impressed, but Hershae still makes it through to Vegas.
Attack Dance Crew: The group, aged 19-25, specialises in "drilling" and impresses the audience and judges with their energetic routine. Piers calls it "brilliant" and praises the looks and choreography, saying that it's very "fresh". Howie thinks that it looked "like a cheerleading team" and admits that he thought it would be "manly dance crew stuff". However, Sharon agrees with Piers and the group is given another shot.
Joseph Ravens: The 43-year-old comes onstage in a full body costume which he then empties things out of as he rides a stationary bike. Sharon and Piers immediately buzz "no" and the act leaves the stage without waiting to be judged, though all three agree that they would not have sent him through.
Captain & Maybelle: The married couple variety act earns gasps after the Captain swallows a metal hanger as well as a rod from which he hangs two concrete slabs. Piers is confused and says that he couldn't look at the act but admits that the audience loved it. Howie calls it "disgusting" but says that there's a "real place for sideshows" in the competition. Sharon says that it "doesn't work" for her and votes no. However, the pair still make it through to Vegas.
Armand and Angelina: The rock opera duo perform a bizarre version of 'My Heart Will Go On' which confuses everyone and gets a "no" buzz from Piers and Sharon halfway through. "Oh my gosh!" exclaims Howie adding that it's "ridiculous" but "wonderful" while Sharon describes it as unintentionally "very camp". Piers also thinks it's "ridiculous" but not in a good way. However, the pair gets through based on votes from Howie and Sharon, who admits that she is "addicted to pure cheese".
Anna Graceman: The 11-year-old singer performs a stunning rendition of Alicia Keys's 'If I Ain't Got You', grabbing a standing ovation from the audience as well as Sharon and Howie. Howie thinks that she's "really amazing", especially for her age. Piers says that she has "raw talent" and "amazing promise", while Sharon loves that she's an "old soul" and has a gift that can't be taught. Unsurprisingly, she is sent straight through to Vegas.
Other acts who succeeded in grabbing a ticket to Vegas included jumprope squad Summerwind Skippers, bluegrass band The Fiddleheads and 6-year-old DJ DJ Face.
