Team iLuminate, PopLyfe, Lys Agnes, Miami All Stars and West Springfield Dance Team have become the first acts to progress to the final Top 10 of America's Got Talent's sixth season.
The first group of 12 semi-final acts performed last night for the judges and the voting public as they competed for the $1 million (£611,240) prize and the chance to headline their own show in Las Vegas.
Sharon Osbourne was thrilled to see Team iLuminate progress, as she believes that their act will make it all the way and stands a real chance of being a million-dollar act.
Howie Mandel admitted that he was nervous when PopLyfe and Lys Agnes were called on stage together as he figured that one of the two acts would be sent home. However, he was relieved to see them both succeed and thanked America for putting such phenomenal talent through to the next round.
Piers Morgan congratulated Miami All Stars on their success, joking that he wants to be invited to their celebration party. He also advised them to "keep doing what they do best" when they come back in the finals.
Their success meant that Sandou Trio Russian Bar, Matt Wilhelm, Zuma Zuma, Kevin Colis, Melissa Villasenor, Beth Ann Robinson and Daniel Joseph Baker were eliminated and sent home.
Tonight's episode also featured performances by Demi Lovato with her hit single 'Skyscraper' and former America's Got Talent finalist Prince Poppycock with a drag musical performance.
Rap group The New Boyz also hit the stage for a performance of their single 'Better With The Lights Off'.
