Silhouettes, Anna Graceman, Eugene Landau Murphy Jr, Landon Swank and Smage Bros. Riding Show have become the final five acts to progress to the final Top 10 of America's Got Talent's sixth season.

The second group of 12 semi-final acts performed last night for the judges and the voting public as they competed for the $1 million (£611,240) prize and the chance to headline their own show in Las Vegas.

Sharon Osbourne was thrilled to see Silhouettes make it through, applauding their unique and spectacular act and marvelling at how emotional the group were at making it into the finals.

The judges and audience alike went wild when both Graceman and Murphy Jr moved forward, with the pair receiving a standing ovation and wild applause from the entire arena.

Piers Morgan told Swank that there is "nothing sweeter" than seeing a Wild Card act succeed, insisting that he is "one great trick away" from the $1 million prize and could be the first magician to win the competition.

Their success meant that Gymkana, Steven Retchless, Professor Splash, Summerwind Skippers, Fatally Unique, The Kinetic King and Snap Boogie were eliminated from the competition.

The victorious acts will join Team iLuminate, PopLyfe, Lys Agnes, Miami All Stars and West Springfield Dance Team in America's Got Talent's Top 10.

Tonight's episode also featured performances by David Guetta with his hit 'Where Them Girls At' featuring Flo Rida and Nicki Minaj, as well as Britain's Got Talent 2009 finalist Susan Boyle with the world premiere performance of her new single 'You Had To Be There'.
