Howard Stern has joked that he will be a "role model" to new America's Got Talent judges Mel B and Heidi Klum.

"I'm going to be a good role model for them. I'm going to nanny them," Stern teased.

He added more seriously: "I want to say, its delightful working with this panel. It's so much fun. Some days they get very long, but when you have nice people like this, it's actually quite pleasant."

Stern went on to say that his goal for this season of America's Got Talent is to find an act that has worldwide appeal.

"I said this year I would love to find an international superstar," he declared. "That's my goal this year, and I know the other judges join me in that and we take the job quite seriously."

Stern is returning for his second season on America's Got Talent alongside fellow veteran judge Howie Mandel.

America's Got Talent returns to NBC on Tuesday, June 4 at 8/7c, with live shows this year taking place at Radio City Music Hall in New York City.
