America's Next Top Model contestant Sundai Love has admitted that she was "terrified" during this week's underwater photoshoot.
The 19-year-old, who was the tenth girl eliminated from the contest last night, was concerned about an ear injury she sustained during an earlier challenge and coping with asthma under water.
Speaking to DS, she said: "It was a lot to handle and a lot to take in. I kind of wish I didn't say anything!
"I was actually scared for my well being but I should have known they would never let anything bad happen to me. I was just so terrified and there was a lot going on and I was so frightened."
Responding to the judges' suggestion that she was just making excuses, she stated: "I really wasn't... When I jumped off the rock, the water jetted into my ear and it hurt really bad so I didn't want to add pressure to it deep under water and make it hurt even more.
"Also, I have bad asthma and learned I couldn't breathe with the regulator. I was like, 'I have asthma, I can't do it! I can't do it!' I tried to go down with the regulator on my second [attempt at posing] but it didn't work."
America's Next Top Model continues next Wednesday on The CW.
