She tells us that at 33 her financial responsibilities are slightly different to some of the other girls and although she gets steady modelling work, the money isn't always great.
Kayla, meanwhile, is feeling dizzy and uneasy and says her heart is racing, so she takes to her bed. Worryingly, she seems to get worse so eventually an ambulance is called and she is whisked away to the ER. Thankfully, she returns the next day feeling better.
This week's challenge is extra special - the girls will all be auditioning for a guest role as a medical intern in CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and the winner will appear in an episode of the show to broadcast this fall.
First, however, they have 30 minutes to get to grips with the tricky medical dialogue (think gas chromatograph mass spectrometer, barbiturates, methamphetamine etc.) before heading to the set to impress creator/exec producer Anthony Zuiker in their scene with actor Robert David Hall (Dr Robbins).
Understandably, the majority of the girls struggle to get the medical terminology word perfect, and Mr Jay admits to being surprised that Lisa was the "worst of all" with her lack of energy and failure to learn the script.
On the other end of the scale, both Angelea and Bre deliver impressive performances and in the end it's Bre who is handed the role, much to Angelea's annoyance.
This week's photoshoot is also an important one - the girls will be modelling Express fashions under the watchful eye of the company's chief marketing officer Lisa Galvales, and considering a campaign with Express is on the cards for the cycle winner, everybody is eager to impress.
Mr Jay explains each girl will have to tell a story in their photograph depending on what persona they are given from the choices of flirt, girlfriend, socialite and cool chick. To help them, they will be modelling alongside three male models.
Bianca is taken to one side by Mr Jay during her shoot because he doesn't seem convinced by what she is doing in her flirt pictures. She tells us that she hasn't really been paying attention to the word because you aren't given words on real photoshoots. She tells Jay she's done similar photoshoots and out of all the girls here she is "the model". Jay privately says that being 5'11'' with a flawless body doesn't make you a model, it comes from within.
Camille, meanwhile, is worried that at 33 she is too old for the target Express audience.
Tyra Banks, Nigel Barker and Andre Leon Talley are joined by CSI's Anthony Zuiker for this week's panel.
Laura (flirt) is first up to face the judges and is praised by Andre for being the star of the picture, while Tyra loves her mixture of "sweetness and sexuality". Kayla (cool chick) is also praised for her "provocative, stunning" picture, with Nigel saying her "icy look" works because it makes her seem tough and cool.
Dominique (cool chick) is also praised for selling the Express fashions and mixing the right amount of sexiness and fashion.
Nigel thinks that Bre (flirt) is "cute" but too commercial and it's not really a fashion photograph, although Tyra points out that as the CSI challenge winner, doors could be opening for her in that area.
Socialite Alexandria is encouraged to remember her audience in future photoshoots, with Tyra explaining that there are both young and old socialites in the world and she doesn't think Express's target audience would be drawn to Alexandria's photo.
Allison is roundly praised for her girlfriend pose, with Nigel saying he loves that she is awkward in person but comes across so relaxed and committed in photos.
The judges are less enamoured by Camille (socialite). Anthony thinks she doesn't look engaged in the picture and Nigel agrees, saying he needs more activity in her eyes. Tyra says the male models outshone her here and the challenge was telling a story which didn't happen. Camille thinks the shot chosen is when she slipped down the stairs.
Lisa (cool chick) also receives a mixed reaction for her photo, with Andre saying although she looks happy in it, it's like a "bogus" happy. Lisa says the male models were hungry and she didn't want to push them on set but the judges say it's her job to direct the picture and the client doesn't care about what happens behind the scenes.
Flirt Bianca is told she should have raised her eyes to the men to make the shot better, while socialite Angelea and girlfriend Shannon are roundly praised for their shots.

Angelea is named best picture (she was in the bottom two last week) with the call-out order then being: Dominique, Allison, Laura, Kayla, Shannon, Bre, Bianca and Alexandria, leaving Camille and Lisa in the bottom two.
Tyra says the show has no time for excuses and that's what they both gave this week. In the end, Camille is eliminated, but she remains positive in her exit interview.
"I'm disappointed I won't be able to experience more Top Model but if at first you don't succeed try again. It's an amazing opportunity and I have to reinvent myself. Not winning isn't the end all because look how far I came. I'm proud of myself."
America's Next Top Model airs Wednesdays at 9/8c on The CW
