Things are heating up in the Big Brother house - factions are forming and the new players are close to turning on their coaches, wreaking havoc on the game. Following Kara's departure on Thursday, Frank - on the chopping block himself last week - took the coveted Head of Household position and will be solely responsible for who goes next. Will he focus his attention on Willie as expected, or has he got another idea? Stay with Digital Spy from 8/7c to find out!
20:57Well, the game continues, but not quite as we'd all thought it would. Because of this change, we won't be hearing this week's nominations until Wednesday (July 25). Join us then for the latest from the house.
20:56Britney is particularly upset about the incident as he is her team member and has been persistently out of control. Jenn tries to look after her but Britney insists she's okay, saying she only wants to go lie down in bed. However, she doesn't get a chance as the houseguests are gathered in the living room and told that since violence is not tolerated, Willie has been removed from the game.
20:54Big Brother tries to break up the incident by telling Willie to go to the back bedroom - apparently Willie head-butted Joe, and the whole house is shaken up by being overly aggressive. Once again, the apple doesn't fall far from the Russell Hantz tree, apparently. Willie is ordered to come immediately to the Diary Room - if they're firm, he'll be out of the house.
20:49Later, Willie is even more aggravated as he's in the kitchen and no-one wants to talk to him. Britney wants to know why he can't "go out with class", and instead he launches into a profanity-filled rant. As Joe comes down the stairs and responds, Willie finally breaks and goes after him, trying to start a physical fight. Uh oh. That's not going to fly!
20:46Britney calls Jojo aside, as she's not happy that Willie is trying to "rally the team" and she wants him to stay away, proclaiming, "You're dead to us!" Jojo agrees, though Willie tries to corner her in the kitchen later. Britney tells him to relax and to stop trying to bring everyone down with him. To prove that he's "not scared" of the others, he runs upstairs to the Head of Household room and begins ranting about how the others shouldn't be punished for what he did.
20:42Inside, the Have Nots find out that their food for the week consists of rice pudding and pork rinds (in addition to slop). Hey, it could be worse - rice pudding is delicious.
20:38While it looks like Boogie might win it, he accidentally jumps off before ringing his buzzer, eliminating himself. Janelle actually takes the win, and saves Ashley on her own team. Then she gets the chance to name the four Have Nots this week, and picks Willie, Shane, Jojo and Ian. Willie is extremely unhappy with this announcement, though the rest seem to take it in their stride.
20:34The stacking is a bit harder than you might think, though, as they're doing so on a very thin beam. Britney is making the most progress and admittedly is "in the zone", much to the other coaches' dismay. However, it all goes wrong suddenly when she accidentally knocks two stacks down, disqualifying her from the game. No!
20:32It's time for the coaches' competition! It's a '90s hip hop themed competition called Phat Stacks. Basically, they've got to take stacks of cash one at a time across a thin beam and then stack them up. The first person to do it successfully - without dropping any - will win. Seems simple... and a bit stupid.
20:26Britney, Shane and Jojo discuss the predicament they're in now with Willie on their team. Shane realises that he has to begin working alone in order to avoid being put in the same bracket as Willie. Britney agrees and tells him to make decisions entirely separate from Willie.
20:25Britney takes on the waitress role for the evening and the couple go to the downstairs lounge room for their "date". They start talking about organic chemistry... super-romantic, as you can imagine. Once they get their drinks, they toast to a long summer. Ian privately says that he thinks a showmance could work out well for them, and they have a hug as they end their evening.
20:23Boogie is giving Ian dating advice downstairs - Ian wants to go on a "date" with Ashley in the house. Boogie thinks Ian doesn't have a chance with Ashley, but wishes he could get something sorted out because it would make Ian more comfortable not just around women, but around everyone in the house. Dan and Boogie force him to ask her, and she reluctantly agrees - she has a soft spot for "little geeky guys in glasses" and will give him a chance. Ian takes this completely to heart and gets on a bow tie and a button-down shirt and goes to "pick her up" from the other room.
20:21Janelle and Dan do a bit of bonding in the kitchen as they're both married this time around in the game. They discuss how difficult it is to be away from their families in the game, though they agree to be strong and keep playing the game.
20:20Boogie, Britney and Dan discuss the upcoming coaches' competition. Knowing that Britney could win is a bit of a problem for Boogie, as he's afraid that Britney will choose to get rid of Willie and saddle another coach with him. Britney knows that he's trying to threaten her and insists that she'll do what she has to do if it comes to it. You go, Britney!
20:18Shane and Danielle seem to be getting on well - admittedly, they've been flirting a bit. Danielle is loving the fact that he's chasing her while Shane appreciates her "Southern Belle" persona. Danielle can see something happening between them , but we'll see if that comes to pass.
20:12Later, Willie goes to speak to Britney about everything that's happened. She is upset that she's made herself look bad and that Willie is too egotistical to see what he's done wrong, though he insists it's "no big thing". Willie insists that he came into the game to play for himself and not with a coach, and further insists that he's going to do what he wants to do and will have a "distant" relationship with Britney going forward.
20:10Everyone is jumping ship from their Willie support, with Jojo running off to talk to Frank and apologising for previously siding with the former HoH. Frank promises that he has no personal grudges and then calls everyone up to see his HoH room, complete with treats, pictures of his family and other luxuries. Willie's not happy about having to pretend to be enthusiastic, but goes up anyway. Boogie also get some treats as he's got his own room in the HoH suite since he's the winning coach.
20:08Willie doesn't want to talk to anyone after this, saying he's going to stay fighting and won't give up. He hopes that he'll win Power of Veto and then HoH again next week, but who knows if that'll happen? Even Shane is thinking of breaking his alliance with Willie as he thinks he's a "hothead" who can't control his temper. Janelle and Britney's alliance is also on the rocks, as Janelle is loathe to team up with someone who can't control their team members. Britney is extremely angry that she's going to "pay the ultimate price" for Willie's behaviour. And indeed, Janelle is already off planning an alliance with Dan.
20:05Kara's gone, and now the house has to sort of get on with things. Dan gives Danielle a hug, promising her that he's not going to let her down as his last team member. Dan privately reveals that he thinks he's still in the game as he still has one chip in the poker game, so to speak. Meanwhile, Frank and Boogie are overjoyed at Frank's HoH room and Boogie immediately turns his attentions to going after Willie this week.
20:02Things are not looking good for Willie in the Big Brother house. After exploding on Frank last week (despite Frank's desire to work together), Frank's now the one in power and might well make Willie rue the day he ran his mouth. There's also a coaches' competition tonight, so it should be interesting.
