'Big Brother' USA: Another houseguest is evicted - Live blog

Big Brother USA 2012 - Live Blog
Well, there's only one week left until the Big Brother finale, which means the game is tighter than ever. With only four houseguests left, it's anyone's guess as to who will make it to the very end and take home the $500,000 prize. Since Danielle is the new Head of Household, she'll have to decide between showmance partner Shane or former coach Dan when it comes to making nominations - but who will she choose, and who will ultimately walk out the door tonight? Join Digital Spy live from 9/8c to find out!

21:58Well, that's it for tonight! Tune in on Sunday (September 16) to see who will win the final Head of Household competition as we inch closer to crowning a winner!

21:54Shane says that there's a possibility of a romance with Danielle outside of the house and that he will forgive her for what went down tonight, but we'll have to see what happens. The only thing you need to forgive her for is being as big a fool as you were, bro.

21:53Talking to Julie, Shane says that he trusted Dan 100% and that he didn't come through. Surprise, surprise, people!!! Why have you all been so blind? He also admits that he's kind of in shock, saying that he trusted Danielle and Dan, which is why he allowed them to put him up. He's sort of in tears and obviously quite shaken. Yeah, this is what happens when you trust Dan. He's won this game before, dude. Get with it. "Dan's just a dirty player," he says. Duh!

21:51Shane doesn't waste much time and exits the house right away, not even giving Dan much time to talk to him as he tries. Ian is completely surprised that he's not the one heading out, while Dan and Danielle talk privately. She wonders why he constantly lies to her and says that he has lost her trust several times. Dan assures her that she couldn't have beat him in the final and starts talking about how as her "coach", he was making the right decision. He also claims that Ian will take her to the final two over him. It's time to wise up, Danielle.

21:49Well, now Dan gets to cast the sole vote. Shane and Ian get to say their piece, and then Dan casts his vote right in front of them. He says that from day one, he's had blood on his hands and he evicts Shane, much to Danielle's shock.

21:46Time for the Power of Veto ceremony. We already know what's going to happen, here, but we'll go through the technicalities, anyway. Of course, Danielle takes Dan off and puts Shane on. Uh oh.

21:38Danielle tells Shane about the plan and promises that she'd never do anything to put his place in jeopardy, and he says that she should do what she needs, as long as she's sure. Dan has obviously done a good job of convincing her that he really wants Ian out, so they make out a bit and it seems like Ian might be safe, after all.

21:37Dan's ready to make his move now and goes upstairs to talk to Danielle. He tells her that he's sure he's going home and says that he doesn't trust Shane. Danielle makes him promise that if Shane goes up as a replacement nominee, that he'll save Shane and take her to the final two. He indeed promises, but of course he's lying through his teeth. Shane could very well be heading home.

21:29Somehow, Danielle manages to get it right and wins the Power of Veto - that pretty much seals Ian's fate and means he'll be out of the game. God knows no one is going to get smart enough to get rid of Dan.

21:28Ian buzzes in first but he's missed a few questions and has to keep going. Shane also fails to get it correct immediately and Danielle and Dan are still working away. When he does buzz in, Dan has quite a few wrong and has to go back to the drawing board.

21:25Right, it's time for the PoV competition. Everyone has a molecule puzzle with 15 clues on it, as well as faces of former housemates. They'll need to match the clues to the housemates they correspond to. The first person to get them all correct will win - but they'll have to be careful, as some questions have multiple answers, but there's only one solution to the puzzle.

21:19Frank tells the girls that he was shocked by Dan's betrayal, though Britney says that he's just "playing a good game". Frank disagrees and an argument breaks out, though Ashley soon smooths things over by saying that they'll have a "fiesta". Joe shows up soon after (seriously, is this all happening the same day?) and the four sit on the couches... until Frank and Britney start arguing again. Oh, dear.

21:16Ever wonder what's going on at the Jury House? No, me neither, but let's pretend. Ashley's been loving the experience, meditating and blowing bubbles and making dream boards. Great. She feels "emotional" when Britney shows up and says that she thinks Dan is going to win the game and he's the reason she's out of it. The girls sit around painting their nails and chatting for a few days, and then here comes Frank.

21:09Danielle does indeed go along with Dan - Ian and Dan are on the chopping block. Danielle feels guilty and says that it "broke her heart" to nominate Dan but she's glad that Shane will have no reason to distrust her. Dan thinks it'd be great if he wins the upcoming Veto competition but he's not worried if he doesn't, as he still has "a lot of magic" left in him.

21:08Dan is "definitely bummed" about not winning the Head of Household competition but he doesn't care too much, considering that he's got final three deals with everyone in the house. Privately, Dan tells Danielle to put himself and Ian up, particularly because Shane will go along with Danielle and Danielle will do whatever he wants. How obnoxious. If Shane was smart and he's the only one voting, they'd get Dan out now.

21:05Don't mind if it's a little quiet around here - we're being treated to an incredibly tedious recap. Jenn's gone, Danielle wins the Head of Household competition and now it's time to get to it.

21:01Well, here we go! Someone's going home tonight and it's up to Danielle, pretty much, as to who that'll be. But which way will she go? I don't particularly like her showmance with Shane, but anything's better than Dan - he must be stopped!
