Big Brother USA 2012 - Live Blog
It's been one crazy summer in the Big Brother house, and now it's all come to a close. With only three players left in the game, it's anyone's guess whether it'll be Dan, Danielle or Ian who goes home with the $500,000 grand prize. While Dan is certainly in the best position at the moment, anything can happen and the jury of his former houseguests will still have their say and may stand in the way of a second victory for the returning player. Who will win the final HoH competition, and which player will be chosen to go forward to the final two? Find out with Digital Spy live from 9.30/8.30c!

23:00Well, that's it for this year's Big Brother! Make sure to check out the site in the coming days as we get our chance to chat with the final three and find out what they have to say!

22:57Ian doesn't know how he pulled it off, but he did. Incidentally, the fan favourite this year is Frank, so he wins the extra $25,000. Good for him!

22:54I think Dan was quite surprised that happened - he was looking way too smug all night. Yay, justice prevails! Also, we get to find out who wins fan favourite tonight. Hopefully it's Britney, yet again. She's great.

22:53Good for Ian - I totally did not see that happening, but he absolutely deserved it, even if just as a big "suck it" to Dan, you know?!

22:52Time to read the votes! Shane's vote goes to Ian. Jenn's vote also goes to Ian. Joe votes for Ian. Frank's vote also goes to Ian, and that is enough for him to win!

22:42Hey, look! Janelle, Kara, JoJo, Boogie, Wil and Jodi are back! They get to dish on what they've seen on the show since they've watched at home - and even the guys in the house can hear them. Uh oh!

22:36Now it's time for the votes. Ashley goes first and locks in her vote. Britney follows and one by one, the rest of them go.

22:34Well, it's nearly time for the voting to take place, but first Dan and Ian get a chance to plead their cases.

Ian points out his multiple competition wins, his ability to stay alive and his use of statistics, probability and "a little bit of heart" to move forward and make it to the finals.

Dan tries to compliment the jury members saying that he couldn't win against them and was therefore forced into playing a ruthless game. He also insists that he's played his game 24/7 and had to do what he had to do to win and didn't play it personally.

22:26Britney wants to know why Ian thinks he should win, and he says that he didn't deal with the alliance that he was given and instead made his own destiny in the game and also played a bit of a cleaner game.

Shane asks Dan why he deserves to win - Dan knows where they're coming from, but the only answer he has is insulting Ian for being "controlled" throughout.

Danielle asks Ian if he was aware of Dan's final two deal with her, but he says he wasn't and that Dan gave him his grandfather's gold cross as collateral. This all comes as quite a big shock to Ian when Dan comes clean.

22:24Jenn tells Ian that she doesn't respect "snitches" and wonders why she should award him money when he was playing people. He again insists that he had to take his destiny into his own hands and do his own thing to ensure getting forward.

Joe wants to know what Dan feels sorry about - he reveals that he had to stab everyone in the back, even coming clean on playing Danielle and Britney - though he insists that it was his only option.

22:22The jury gets to question the two finalists before locking in their votes. Ashley asks Ian if he made his own decisions in the game or followed Dan, and he insists that he totally did his own thing and took his destiny in his own plans. Dan tries to cut him off and disagrees, but whatever.

Frank asks Dan if he crossed the line about swearing on the bible and his wedding ring and then breaking his promises. Dan says that he he did regret it, but was up to his elbows in blood and did what he had to do at the time.

22:19It's time for the return of the jury! It's Jenn, Britney, Shane, Ashley, Frank and Joe... as well as Danielle, of course.

22:15Danielle tells Julie that she didn't try to make a deal with Ian as she didn't want to be a bigger target and end up in the same position anyway. Ian says that he couldn't win against Danielle because she has too many friends in the jury, but she's still a bit nonplussed - especially because she doesn't know if Dan threw the final part in order to try to ensure her vote. Huh. Good question!

22:12Right, that's it - Ian votes to evict Danielle and she has to leave right away. That means it's Dan and Ian in the final two. Ian is an idiot and so is Danielle, and when Dan takes this $500,000 and they watch all this back, they're going to be kicking themselves for ages.

22:06Ian wins when Dan gets yet another question wrong. He wins the final Head of Household competition, and it's up to him to decide who goes to the final two. Something tells me Dan almost didn't even try. Hmm... what's going on there?

22:05Dan missteps and gets one wrong - ouch. Then he misses another! That puts Ian in the lead by two.

22:03Right, it's time for part three of the Head of Household competition. Let's do this thing. Ian and Dan are on separate sides of a divider. Julie's going to read statements from each of the jury members, with possible completions. They'll need to answer (multiple choice, of course) correctly in order to move on. The person with the most right will win.

21:57Ian is considered a "rat" by a lot of the group, while Danielle is seen as playing Dan's game and Britney thinks she's had an easy game. However, Frank wonders if latching onto such a powerful player is such a bad idea.

Jenn also argues that when it comes down to it, Danielle has won competition. When it comes to Dan, Britney is in awe of his game and everyone seems to have a consensus that he's running the game.

21:54It's time for the jury to meet! Shane shows up at the jury house and everyone is shocked but pleased to see him. Shane tells them about how he was blindsided and says that he's not convinced that Danielle was behind his exit and that maybe Dan pulled a fast one on her. They then discuss the merits and shortcomings of each of the players left.

21:53They decide to start the drama and while Ian insists that he doesn't respond to threats, he says to Dan that he's afraid Danielle will actually attempt to taint the jury. Dan tries to suggest that Ian find another plan, though he insists he has no intention of throwing the final part as he's "risk averse". Ha!

21:50Finally, it's revealed that Ian did it in six minutes and four seconds, beating out Danielle by nearly 90 seconds. Danielle is pretty fuming mad, but says that it's time for Plan B now. Here's hoping it works.

21:49Ian gets a turn at it next - he'll need to do it more quickly than she did, though there's no telling what time that was. Ian seems to be moving pretty quickly, but I just have no idea who it's going to be. Part of me now hopes Danielle wins, only because I think she might actually blindside Dan.

21:48Anyway, it's time to win part two. There's something happening, but I was too busy writing that convoluted plan to pay attention to the directions. All I know is that Danielle is scaling a wall, wiping off the faces of evicted housemates from covered boards (much like a window washer) in order to cover the faces of her past eliminated houseguests. She knows the order like the back of her hand and thinks she did well.

21:46Talking privately, Dan is worried that Danielle might not win the second part of the Head of Household competition, so they come up with a contingency plan. If Ian wins part two, Dan is going to high five him in front of her and say, "We did it!" Danielle will then act cocky and insist that Ian isn't going to cut her because she can influence the jury, leaving Dan to convince him to throw part three. What a ruckus.

21:41Finally, she does give in, though she swears it's because she needs to keep Dan's trust and ensure that she's going to make it to the final two. Oh, this could go so, so wrong.

21:40Ian does indeed drop and then Dan takes a few minutes with Danielle and tries to convince her to hand him this part, as well. Danielle - unfortunately and stupidly - seems to be listening to him.

21:37If you remember, the three were left in the garden, hanging from a hook as rain pours down, they're dunked in water, etc. Danielle is ready to seek revenge for Shane's elimination, but here's the hilarious thing - Ian buys Dan's crap and agrees to drop out of the first part of the Head of Household contest.

Dan tells Danielle about the deal so that she regains her trust in him, hopefully also dropping and handing him the first part. If she does that, she's an absolute idiot.

21:35When we last left the house, they were working on part one of the final Head of Household competition. Whoever wins that gets to name the person they want to take to the final two, while the evicted houseguest will exit immediately and join the jury. Ahh!

21:33Yay, it's time for the Big Brother finale! Personally, I hope Ian wins. Will he? Probably not, but oh well.
