The mother-of-two, who was eliminated from the competition this week, told reporters in a conference call that she had no regrets about her time on the ranch.
"I was one of 16 people that had this opportunity out of 500,000 people all across the country," she explained.
"I tried out for The Biggest Loser three times. I stood in line for 14 hours in the pouring rain in Dallas and I made it on the show. My golly, why wouldn't you give everything you possibly had to stay there?
"I did what I had to do to make sure I could stay on the [show] as long as possible. I have no regrets."
She also insisted that she had "amazing" relationships with the rest of the contestants and is still in contact with trainers Jillian Michaels and Bob Harper.
The Biggest Loser continues next Tuesday on NBC.
