The Biggest Loser has been granted a sixth season by NBC.
Contestants for the reality show, which sees pairs compete to lose weight, will this time be picked specifically from "America's fattest cities". Presenter Alison Sweeney will remain.
Series five has been the best-rating yet for NBC, attracting an average 9.3m viewers so far. The show and a British version have both aired in the UK on Living TV.
It is produced by Reveille, 25/7 Productions and 3 Ball Productions.
