It's already time for the finale on Project Runway: All Stars, and it's between Austin, Michael and Mondo for the grand prize and it's anyone's guess as to who will come out on top.

For the final challenge, the designers will put on a high-profile runway show for their collection of pieces. They will need to design a mini-collection of five different looks, but the only problem is, it has to be done in the next four days. Should be interesting!

They'll have a budget of $5,000 to do it, as well as a selection of five models to wear their clothes. In addition, instead of mentor Joanna Coles visiting the workroom, the men will visit hers at the Marie Claire offices for some inspiration and feedback.

Once there, the group discuss with Joanna how nervous they are about creating their collection and also question Joanna about what she's looking for when judging such a competition. Joanna is encouraging and urges them to remain "authentic" and work hard to create a theme between their pieces.

From there, it's time to get to work. Mondo, Michael and Austin set off to begin preparing their collection. Each designer is intent on proving his worth and vows to overtake the others. It'll be interesting to see who actually succeeds.

Over at Mood, it's a frantic rush to find all the fabrics the guys will need for their five looks with only 30 minutes to shop. Mondo admits that he's "going in with a blindfold" as he has no concrete ideas and is "not feeling it". Austin seems a bit more directed, visualising a "modern day rock star meets Hasidic gentleman" when choosing his materials.

Back at the workroom, the designers are surprised to see that everything has been moved around to provide each of them with a private workspace on which to make their collection. However, a bit of tension arises when Austin wants to discuss Mondo's ideas and gets little response. For his part, Mondo admits that he's frustrated and just wants to quit.

Michael wants his collection to be "fun and adventurous, but still sexy". He sets off to work with what seems to be plenty of inspiration. However, Mondo re-enters the room admitting that he is at the opposite end of the spectrum and feels completely under pressure. Austin thinks that everyone has stress in the competition and that Mondo is being "immature" to not recognise everyone else's struggle.

A short while later, Georgina Chapman shows up to give the guys a pep talk and discuss their ideas. They also question Georgina on what she likes to see when watching a runway show. Still, in the midst of the conversation, Mondo kicks off about how unhappy he is that people are dictating what is expected of him. Georgina attempts to encourage him to push through, telling him not to have a breakdown and to stay the course.

While Michael and Austin get back to work, Mondo gives himself a "free day" and decides to lounge around on the couch. That night, they all head out for cocktails and dinner, but Mondo is still in a "foul mood" and has no idea what he's going to do. He then declares that he's "done" and walks off in the middle of the meal. While Austin is frustrated, Michael is more cautious, declaring, "When he's in that mood, that's when he turns out his best work ever."

The next day, Mondo decides upon his collection - it's called 'therapy' as he feels that the competition has made him crazy and he is in need of help. It's a nice change to see him finally find some inspiration.

In the afternoon, the models come in for the casting call so that the men can choose who will display their looks on the runway. However, Mondo becomes frustrated when Austin tries to take over the day by picking the models he wants without giving a thought to who the others might like.

Back at the workroom, everyone seems to have hit their stride and is finally making progress. Isaac Mizrahi drops in to give them CDs of music that will be used for their show, as well as to discuss the "psychology" behind laying out their runway collections. And the visits keep coming when host Angela Lindvall stops by the workroom to check up on their progress. But of course, it's not that simple. There's also an All-Stars twist - they'll have to create a sixth look from the scraps of all their previous designs. Uh oh!

They also get to choose some of their former competitors to work with on getting the collection together. Mondo chooses to work with Mila, while Austin works with Anthony and Michael picks April. As they get down to work, April admits that she's surprised at having been chosen by Michael since their styles are so different, but she's looking forward to it. Mila is thrilled to be supporting Mondo, while Anthony wishes Austin well but thinks his collection needs major help, which, thankfully, he believes he can give.

With only a few hours left in the day, the heat is on in the workroom as the designers work out their sixth look, as well as continuing on with their earlier conceived designs. Considering they'll have only two hours tomorrow to put the finishing touches on their work, it's a mad dash to get it all done.

The next morning, the designers are feeling pretty anxious as they all have more work left to do than time left to do it in. Not to mention the fact that their time with their helpers is now over, and the former contestants leave them on their own.

Joanna then visits the runway to check out their progress. Austin presents his "wedding' collection to Joanna, though she wonders how he can persuade the judges that he's really pushing the envelope.

Talking to Mondo, Joanna is intrigued by his "therapy" concept and advises him to use the rest of his talent wisely and ensure that the collection is as "coherent' as possible. Michael gets more praise for showing off pieces that all look like they're part of the same range. She also appreciates that he made a very commercial decision by choosing to show resortwear.

After pushing themselves to the limit, Mondo, Austin and Michael manage to pretty much complete their work and head back to their apartment for the night, reflecting on their journey.

Next week, the finalists will hit the runway to show off their collections. Who will win Project Runway: All Stars Tune in next Thursday at 9/8c on Lifetime to find out!
