Bravo plans 'Real Housewives Of DC'

Bravo is planning to set the next Real Housewives in Washington, DC, the network has announced.

The new series will be the channel's fifth instalment of the hit show, joining the other locations of Atlanta, Orange County, New York and New Jersey.

"We're tapping personalities who are among Washington, DC's influential players, cultural connoisseures, fashion sophisticates and philanthropic leaders," Bravo's executive vice president Frances Berwick said.

Berwick added that the cast will be made up of those "who rub elbows with the most prominent people in the country and easily move in the city's diverse political and social circles".

An air date for the show is yet to be confirmed.
