The ex-wife of former Atlanta Falcons star Bob Whitfield said that she is leaving The Real Housewives after four seasons because the series no longer fits her "lifestyle".
"After four solid seasons of helping Bravo build the show into its most successful Housewives franchise, I have decided to leave," Whitfield said, reports Wet Paint. "The direction the show is going in is no longer a fit for my lifestyle. I'm tired of the fighting and the cattines."
Her statement continued: "I want to be part of something that empowers and inspires women to not only be healthy, but to treat themselves with respect.
"I wish the rest of the women the best of luck. I'm thrilled to say I'm now a free agent and am already fielding offers."
Whitfield apparently plans to continue working on her fashion line She by Shereé, which featured prominently in the first four seasons of The Real Housewives.
The fifth season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta is expected to return later this year.
