The 23-year-old reality star, who rose to fame on Laguna Beach, told E! Online's Marc Malkin that the MTV series had "turned into much more of a job".
"Before, it was a lot of fun for me. Now it's kind of like a daily grind where before it was lighthearted and easy," she explained.
When asked if she would sign on for another season, she replied: "I haven't totally decided. I have some other projects that I'm working on."
Bosworth's best friend and former co-star Lauren Conrad exited the show earlier this year.
