CBS has announced the identities of the sixteen contestants participating in the seventh Survivor series.

As usual there will be eight males and eight females competing for the $1 million prize, but unlike the last series the group won't be split into tribes along gender lines.

On the 'Morgan Tribe' is Tijuana Bradley, a 27-year-old pharmaceutical sales assistant; Nicole Delma, a 25-year-old massage therapist; Darrah Johnson, a 22-year-old mortician; Lillian Morris, a 51-year-old scout troop leader; Ryan Opray, a 31-year-old electrician; Andrew Savage, a 40-year-old attorney; Ryan Shoulders, a 23-year-old produce clerk and Osten Taylor, a 27-year-old equity trade manager.

On the 'Drake' tribe is Rupert Boneham, a 39-year-old mentor to troubled teens; Shawn Cohen, a 28-year-old advertising salesman; Jon Dalton, a 29-year-old art consultant; Sandra Diaz-Twine, a 29-year-old office assistant; Trish Dunn, a 42-year-old sales executive; Christa Hastie, a 24-year-old computer programmer; Burton Roberts, a 31-year-old marketing executive and Michelle Tesauro, a 22-year-old student.

Set in the Pearl Islands, Survivor 7 is set for a September 18 premiere.
