The "allstar" version of Survivor will premiere after the SuperBowl on
Sunday, Februrary 1, CBS have confirmed.
The network is hoping that the move will bring similar success to that of Survivor 2: The Australian Outback in 2001, watched by some 45 million viewers when it debuted after the Super Bowl.
CBS has yet to confirm the names of the eighteen players in the edition (two more than the usual sixteen), although popular internet rumours put former winners Richard Hatch, Ethan Zohn and Jenna Morasca on the cast alongside Rudy Bosch and "super bitch" Jerri Manthey.
