First 'Survivor' season gets DVD release

The first season of Survivor will be released on DVD in May, according to Canadian website TVShowsOnDVD.com.
Up until now distribution company Paramount have held off on releasing one of the top-rated shows in the US, fearing that sales would be low as the outcome is already known.
If it does prove successful, subsequent seasons are likely to follow.
