Synnott was voted off by four of the remaining nine contestants by an alliance led by Tyson Apostol and Benjamin 'Coach' Wade.
Coach said: "Brendan's the dragon, I'm the dragon-slayer. This is going to be the biggest power move to date of this game, no question about it."
Joe Dowdle was medically evacuated from the Survivor: Tocantins island last week after an infection on his leg refused to heal, which meant that there was no vote on the previous show.
Earlier, Apostol had won the immunity challenge for the second week running, finishing the rope-based obstacle challenge faster than the other islanders.
There are now eight contestants left in the show and all are part of the merged Forza team.
