CBS renews 'Survivor', 'Amazing Race'
CBS has renewed Survivor and The Amazing Race.

The Eye network has placed a two-season order for Survivor, bringing its total count to 22 seasons. The move secures its place throughout the 2010-11 season and makes it the longest-running reality competition series ever.

Meanwhile, Amazing Race has been handed a 17th season renewal.

CBS recently confirmed that comedy series How I Met Your Mother will be returning for a sixth season.

Survivor's 20th edition Heroes vs. Villains begins Thursday, February 11 on CBS.
