NaOnka also rails against Fabio, calling him "so stupid" and "an airhead". He admits that he wants to be kept around in the group for more than his sense of humour, as he perceives this to be the reason that he is well-liked in the group.
Over at Espada, Marty spots a group of howler monkeys in the trees above their camp and gathers the team to search for the food sources that the animals may be using. Jimmy J joins in the hunt, prompting Marty to approach Jill to discuss a possible alliance against the former NFL coach, as Marty feels that Jimmy J should not be allowed to stay in the competition much longer.
Marty later reveals to the group the immunity idol that he found last week, and says that he plans to use it in "a merge situation" in order to strengthen the tribe when it's needed most. Jimmy T cheers him on as a "nice guy" for sharing the discovery with the group, as it carries a considerable amount of power, later admitting that he probably would have kept it to himself. Jill is pleased with the group's positive reaction to the revelation, as she believes this will be good for her in the long run given their recent casual alliance.
The next day, Dan is troubled by a previous knee injury and admits that he is struggling in the competition, which he fears the rest of Espada has noticed. Yve has, mentioning that while Dan has tried to hide his weakness, it is obvious that he is not up to the task.
Back at La Flor, Alina expresses concern over the divide in the group, realising that Kelly B and herself have fallen "on the wrong side". NaOnka says that she would like to get Alina out in order to "send a shockwave" to Kelly B as payback for their disloyalty at last week's Tribal Council.
Jeff also announces that La Flor may use the medallion of power to have a head start of two barrels with sandbags already on top - an opportunity which they decide not to take advantage of.
La Flor gains an immediate advantage as Jeff urges Espada to pick up the pace. The younger tribe is the first to begin tossing their bags onto the barrels, with the older tribe not far behind. They then quickly forge ahead by continually landing sandbags where Espada fails. However, the advantage is short-lived as Benry begins landing more shots than Tyrone. He eventually lands the final bag and wins immunity for La Flor.
They return to camp with their prize, where NaOnka and Kelly B immediately fight for the clue left in the basket. The group expresses frustration with the tussle, as it was too aggressive and crushed much of the produce provided. NaOnka, however, is not remorseful and says that "it's a game" and that she will not act differently towards Kelly B just because she has one leg. She later shares the clue with Brenda, and together they attempt to decipher the code provided within.
Marty later confesses that he is happy to see the unrest developing in the tribe, and that he is looking forward to Tribal Council as it will force his teammates to "start playing this game". He again admits that he's "concerned" about Jimmy Johnson and feels it is important to remove him from the game as soon as possible - a plan which he approaches Jill with. She agrees to go along with whatever Marty decides, as she feels that Jimmy J, Holly and Dan are "all the same person" as far as she is concerned. Marty also approaches Jimmy T and Dan with the idea of eliminating Jimmy J and feels that he may be able to pull it off.
Tyrone, however, is less open to the idea, as he feels Dan poses a bigger threat. Marty is annoyed by this approach and says that his choice displays the fact that he is not "dedicated to the game" in the same way as himself.
Holly and Jill talk amongst themselves shortly after. Holly says that she is sure she is at risk of going home, but Jill disagrees, pointing to Dan's low spirits and physical injuries. The two then promise to "have each other's backs" for as long as they remain in the competition.
At Tribal Council, Jimmy J is sent home with five votes. He later insists that while he was "miserable the whole time", he had a lot of fun and loved the experience. "I think they will come together and be successful," he says about his Espada teammates.
