Harrison approached Casey S. on Monday night's (February 6) episode of The Bachelor after hearing that she was still emotionally involved with another man back home.
Casey S. explained that she had broken up with her boyfriend (although he claimed they were still in a relationship) after learning he wasn't interested in marriage, but said that although she wanted to move on from him, part of her still remained hopeful he would change his mind.

Writing in his Entertainment Weekly blog (which you can read in full here), the host said: "I want to make it clear that in my opinion Casey didn't come on the show with bad intentions; she didn't come on the show to deceive Ben.
"Casey is a very sweet woman who found herself in a difficult position. Her talk with Ben was amicable."
Harrison encouraged Casey S. to talk to Ben Flajnik about the situation on Monday night, which led to Flajnik suggesting it would be better if she left the show.
However, writing in his blog, Harrison predicted that Flajnik "wishes he had reacted a little differently", although he pointed out that the winemaker had been caught completely off-guard by the revelation.
"In the end it was right for Casey to leave the show. Whether she's in love with her old boyfriend or not is and was irrelevant," he concluded. "It's very clear she isn't in the right state of mind to find love with Ben right now. I'm glad I stepped in and talked to her, and overall I'm happy with how we handled the situation."

Flajnik echoed Harrison's thoughts in his weekly blog for People (which can be read in full here), saying that on reflection he "could've been more sympathetic" to Casey S.
"She was clearly involved with a guy that wasn't appreciating her but all I could hear was that she was still in love with someone else," he explained. "I had just sent Blakeley home, which was really hard on both of us, and I kept thinking, 'How could you let yourself be here still if you're not that into me?'
"I can't change the way I reacted but I do hope Casey S. finds a man that appreciates her like she deserves."
Flajnik had just come back from a two-on-one date with Blakeley and Rachel which ended in Rachel getting the date rose and Blakeley being sent home. Monday night's instalment of The Bachelor also saw Jamie sent home when she failed to receive a rose at the cocktail party.
The Bachelor airs Mondays at 8/7c on ABC.
