In a preview trailer, he says: "Family is super important to me and I need a parent's approval before I go through with this to the very end."
However, the trailer suggests that not every hometown visit goes smoothly, with one bachelorette's parents questioning how she really feels about Ben, and her father even saying he wouldn't approve of a marriage proposal right now.
Ben will begin his hometown dates with a visit to Ocala, FL to see Lindzi, where they will spend time at her family's horse farm and she will reveal details about her past relationship.

Next up is a stop in Clarksville, TN to meet Kacie B - who greets Ben with a marching band. Highlights of their date include sharing a picnic on a football field named after her grandfather.
Ben's third hometown date is in Fort Worth, TX with Nicki, who takes him on a shopping spree to turn him into a cowboy. She also warns him her dad is protective of her following her divorce and Ben will have to work hard to win him over.
The final hometown date takes place in Scottsdale, AZ with Courtney and her family, but the preview suggests it isn't all plain sailing for Ben when he discovers that the model's mum "is skeptical about whether Courtney is really in love with him".
Another preview trailer released by ABC shows Courtney telling Ben she has a "big surprise" for him, before he notices that they are sitting right beside a wedding party...
Last week's The Bachelor saw Ben sending home Emily O'Brien and Rachel Truehart.
He later wrote in his People blog: "My feelings for Kacie, Nicki, Lindzi and Courtney were the strongest. More than anything, I was completely thrilled that they wanted to take me home to meet their families.
"Family is everything to me, and it's a very important part of this journey."
The Bachelor airs tonight (February 20) at 8/7c on ABC
