'Bachelor' host Chris Harrison: 'Desiree exit didn't feel right'

Lowe opted to say goodbye to Hartsock in last night's show after visiting her family for a hometown date.

Sean Lowe sent home Desiree Hartsock this week

Speaking to TV Guide, Harrison has now suggested that Lowe made his decision after facing off with Hartsock's confrontational brother.

However, he added that he thinks Lowe may have made a mistake, saying: "I'm pretty sure he let go of the love of his life.

"I'll be interested to see if he'll say he regrets it. I know she was head over heels in love with the guy. When Desiree was leaving, it reminded me of [season two Bachelor] Aaron Buerge saying goodbye to Gwen. It's like, 'What are you doing? This is wrong, you shouldn't be breaking up'. It didn't feel right."

Chris Harrison has questioned whether Sean made the right decision

Harrison also suggested that fans seem to want Desiree to become the next star of The Bachelorette.

"I take my response off of Twitter and so far she has had the biggest response," he said. "Sarah got a decent response and we'll see what happens next week, but right now Des is a big frontrunner. She's the beautiful girl next door that you want to wish well."

The Bachelor: Sean Tells All airs tonight on ABC.
