One-on-one date: William
This week's episode opens with the first one-on-one date of the season, as Ashley whisks William away to Las Vegas on a private jet. She decides to have some fun with the bachelor, and tests his willingness to get married by taking them to a wedding cake shop and ring shop, before finally locating a Vegas wedding chapel. As Ashley walks down the aisle to where William and a reverend are waiting, the bachelor admits that he's starting to get nervous: "We keep inching closer to the process of finalising a marriage."
Next up is dinner in the middle of the lake at the Bellagio, where tourists spot Ashley and shout "I love you!" Ashley wants to see William's serious side and he's soon telling her about his alcoholic father. She becomes emotional as she says she can relate, having an alcoholic father herself. William gets the date rose and the couple share a kiss.
Group date: Constantine, Ryan M. Chris, Ben F. Nick, Bentley, West, Lucas, Stephen, Blake, Matt, and Ames
Ashley decides to fly a group of the guys to Las Vegas for the next date, where they are given the chance to watch the Jabbawockeez perform before Ashley reveals the real challenge - the guys have to split into two teams to create their own routine. The winning team will get the chance to perform with Ashley and the Jabbawockeez on stage that night, while the losing team will go straight home to LA.
In the end, it's Team No Rhythm Nation (West, Bentley, Nick, Ben F, Lucas and Blake) that wins, and after a showstopping performance, they all get the chance to relax with Ashley at an after-party. Dentist Blake is the first to score one-on-one time, although Ashley is worried that they are both type-A personalities and might butt heads. "We'd be twice as perfect," replies Blake. Next up is West, who shares the story of his wife's death, before a competitive Bentley takes Ashley to one side and implies that he's feeling insecure about her spending time with the other men. She eventually tells him to "please, please, please stick around", before awarding him the date rose because she knows he's giving up a lot to be on the show.
One-on-one date: Mickey
Ashley decides to have some fun at the end of their date, telling Mickey that she's going to flip a coin to decide if he gets the date rose. It turns out luck is on his side, and he gets the rose. Their evening ends with a walk on the Mandalay Bay beach and a private concert by Colbie Caillat, where they share a kiss.
JP (who hasn't had a date) immediately swoops in for some alone time with Ashley, telling her that he's going to flip a coin to decide whether they should kiss. The gesture works in his favour, and they share a kiss, before Ashley tells him that although he didn't get a date this week, she predicts they will have "good times" in the future, urging him to enjoy the night and have patience in the process.
Nick also scores some alone time (and teaches Ashley to line dance) but is interrupted by William, which annoys the men because William already has a rose. Jeff watches as they embrace, and admits that he's at a disadvantage because he didn't get a date. He decides to open up to Ashley about some aspects of his past, saying that he suffered a brain haemorrhage when he was 29 (he's now 35) and split from his partner of ten years because of "untruthfulness". He tells Ashley that he's finally ready to remove his mask, but just before he can, he is interrupted by Matt.
"It started out good but sucked towards the end," he later says, although Ashley appears to have a totally different attitude, saying that although she was warned about Bentley, she thinks she can trust him.
Bentley, Mickey and William already have roses. The remaining roses go to: West, Constantine, Ryan P, Ben C, Nick, Ames, Lucas, Jeff, JP, Chris, Ben F and Blake.
The men sent home are: Stephen, Matt and Ryan M.
