The 26-year-old dental student bagged $30,000 (£18,000) to front the seventh season of the ABC dating show, according to Us Weekly.
The figure is a substantial drop from the reported $100,000 (£62,000) payment that former stars such as Jillian Harris and DeAnna Papas are thought to have received.
It has also been noted that former Bachelor contestants Molly Malaney and Jason Mesnick, who fell in love during the show's 13th season in 2009, were paid $30,000 just for the television rights to their February 2010 wedding.
Hebert currently has six suitors left on The Bachelorette, which this season was filmed in exotic locations such as Hong Kong, Thailand and Fiji.
Hebert was revisited by former contestant Bentley in the latest episode of The Bachelorette, after admitting to being left heartbroken by his decision to quit.
The Bachelorette airs Mondays at 8/7c on ABC.
