The supermodel was eliminated from the NBC competition on Sunday night after serving as project manager for the losing women's team in a task that involved promoting an outdoor Camping World experience.
The teams had to create an outdoor experience set up in New York City that displayed campers and products. They had a choice of RV and would be judged on their brand messaging, originality of the experience, and their overall presentation.
Star Jones is unhappy at the way she was treated in the boardroom, and warns the other girls that she won't be stepping up in a leadership-style role in the future. NeNe Leakes, however, isn't convinced by that. Niki steps up as PM for the task, and the women choose 21st Century Camping World as their theme (although Niki and Hope seem confused by what century it is and resort to Google for an answer). Niki assigns every women to a different area of the camper, although there is some confusion over who is decorating the outdoors. Both Marlee Matlin and NeNe note that Dionne Warwick isn't doing too much, although, as NeNe points out, the music legend is 70 years old.
Niki takes Hope Dworaczyk to do the graphics for their banners, leaving Star in charge, much to NeNe's annoyance. Star, however, isn't sure about Niki's vision for the experience, and phones her to ask her to return. "It's tough at times to have Star on your team," says Niki. "You don't know if she is playing the game or if that's how she is. She's a tough cookie. You have to be on your toes." Niki returns home to find Dionne and LaToya Jackson aren't happy with their areas of the camper. They want to go to Bed, Bath & Beyond, but Niki wants them to visit Home Depot to get trees and greenery for the outside. Eventually Niki sends them to both stores but they only have an hour, and she's worried that everything won't be done in time. She's right; the trees don't surface but Star manages to track down a bunch of balloons to decorate the outside.
Gary Busey appears unhappy at what Meatloaf said about him during the last boardroom, although Meatloaf says that he is overreacting. Gary has his chance to prove himself this week when he is appointed PM, although his apparent lack of direction is a running theme throughout the task. He appears to give both Mark McGrath and Richard Hatch the green light to purchase greenery for the outside - until they realise what has happened and Mark manages to secure the greenery for free - and John Rich, Richard, Meatloaf and Lil Jon struggle to make banners for the experience because they don't actually know what their theme is. Elsewhere, tension develops when John wonders if he should write a song to promote the experience. Jose Canseco and Richard seem to suggest a country song doesn't fit the theme of their experience, which angers John. He tells the team that "nobody should disrespect" country music or his fans.
The Camping World representative tells Mr Trump that the women's product knowledge was fantastic, but they fell short on their branding because the logo wasn't displayed prominently enough on the outside of the experience. He liked the men's music (composed by John), Jose playing catch with the clients outside, and the presentations, although the interior decor "lacked a women's touch".
Star says that she was "thrilled" with Niki as the PM, calling her "smart and capable". She also thinks the team have never worked better together. Niki, however, calls out Dionne for having bad timing when she approached her to question why Hope had disappeared from their camper. Niki thinks it was inappropriate because she was with clients, although Dionne disagrees. Marlee points out that Dionne works well when she is given a task to do, which is what they want from her.
Meanwhile, the men seem less happy with Gary as PM. Richard doesn't think he did a good job; John is disappointed in his ability to bring focus; while Lil Jon says there was no direction in the team. "It literally was a train wreck," he says. "Everybody was basically doing their own thing." Gary thinks there is an alliance forming against him, but doesn't want to name names. He does say that Lil Jon was the hardest person to communicate with, although Lil Jon says Gary was cutting him out. Ivanka calls out Jose for his lack of energy, although the sports star insists she just caught him on a break and he had plenty of stamina.
Niki tells Mr Trump that she can't blame anybody for the task failure except herself and will take full responsibility. "Each and every girl worked their butt off and did an amazing job," she says. Mr Trump praises her integrity before firing her.
