The singer told Lopez Tonight on Tuesday that he is recording a track with colleagues including John Rich and Lil Jon called 'Standing In The Storm'.
"It's kind of a rock, country, hip-hop thing," he explained. "We're going in the studio tomorrow with Lil Jon because I don't know anything about hip-hop and he does!"
He went on to say that the last line of the chorus is "you gotta have a backbone" in reference to the men's team name on the NBC business competition.
"I'm the project manager of this and John and I are going to approach Mr Trump next week about putting it on the Celebrity Apprentice label on iTunes for our charities."
Meat Loaf is playing for The Painted Turtle, a camp specially designed for seriously ill children, while John Rich is raising money for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and Lil Jon is playing for United Methodist Children's Home of North Georgia Conference.
Celebrity Apprentice airs Sundays at 9/8c on NBC.
