The radio and TV personality will become part of the NBC competition's largest cast ever at 18 celebrities - including Debbie Gibson, Lisa Lampanelli, Arsenio Hall and Clay Aiken - when the show premieres February 19.
Carolla promised to be "brutal" in his attempt to become the Celebrity Apprentice winner, insisting that he is not intimidated by any of his fellow stars.
"We've got a good group of personalities here, but nothing I can't match. Although you never know, Lisa Lampanelli might give me a run for my money!" he told Digital Spy.
"[I want] to absolutely destroy the rest of them - especially Clay," Carolla added with a laugh.
"No, in all seriousness, I will be brutal and I will do what it takes to get the job done, but you have to think wisely because your success is based on a lot more than just whether you can outsell someone. You have to be present and push yourself further and I plan on doing that."
Carolla also shared the type of challenges he is looking forward to trying his hand at, explaining: "I'd like to try something completely out of my comfort zone. I'd be interested to see how I do with sales because I have zero experience in it, but I can also talk my way out of a paper bag, so I'm sure I could do it.
"I haven't thought too much about it, though, to be honest. I'm just sort of waiting to see what the show brings me."
The Celebrity Apprentice premieres on Sunday, February 19 at 9/8c on NBC.
