The singer and actress, who was fired from the programme by Donald Trump after the seventh task, said that she learned a lot about herself while there, especially in such a tense atmosphere.
"[I learned] that wearing tight dresses makes other women very hostile!" Gibson told Parade.
"No, but seriously, that show saved me money in therapy! I'm definitely a bit short and snippy when under stress. But I learned that being a leader doesn't always make you popular. It did win $50,000 for Children International though!"
Gibson went on to say that she also strengthened her moral beliefs while competing, adding: "[I learned] that I wasn't all about 'winning' if it meant abandoning a moral code. It meant more to me to be myself and always be honest.
"I was happy to go being that the climate was shifting to potshots. But it turned out I raised even more money than they said I did on top of everything. The universe really wanted me out of there! It was time!"
