Gordon Ramsay has handed black jackets to the final five chefs on Hell's Kitchen.

This week's episode of the Fox show saw the restaurant transformed into an exclusive black-tie dinner service with just two tables of 12 customers in attendance, all of whom were charitable donors with either the American Cancer Society or American Humane Society.

Each chef was responsible for two courses for their team and they had to work together to ensure all 12 customers at each table were served at the same time.

The Red Team began the service well with Elizabeth's scallops and Elise's risotto - although both Elise and Jennifer questioned Elizabeth's leadership skills - but it went downhill when the team were plating Jennifer's capellini and Chef Ramsay noted the plates had uneven numbers of lobster chunks on them. Jennifer accused her teammates of trying to sabotage her, although Elise denied this.

Elizabeth's fourth course of chicken was also hit with problems because it was ready while the customers were still eating their third course. She told Chef Ramsay she wanted to give the poultry time to rest but he pointed out it was perfect now.

On the fifth course of lamb wellington, Elise didn't want either of her teammates to help, instead telling them to work on the sides. Chef Ramsay, however, later discovered the potato side was unseasoned and questioned Elise's leadership.

Finally, the sixth dessert course led by Jennifer experienced problems when Chef Ramsay discovered some of the fruit was undercooked. Jennifer thought Elise had sabotaged her (Elise said she hadn't) and promised the "war is on" and she wouldn't be keeping her mouth shut about Elise anymore.

In contrast, the Blue Team managed to work well as a team and were named the winners of the dinner service. (They had earlier won a speed challenge which involved producing entrees in 30 minutes, 20 minutes and 10 minutes, securing a shopping spree at Ted Baker).

Chef Ramsay ended the service by telling the women that none of them were safe from elimination that night, although it was Elizabeth who was eventually given the boot, while Elise and Jennifer earned their black jackets.
