'SYTYCD' Robert: 'I danced for Ashley'

So You Think You Can Dance contestant Robert Roldan has revealed that his dance with injured Ashley Galvan happened due to their close friendship.

Speaking to Zap2It, the star also praised his choreographers for the contemporary dance piece by Travis Wall which impressed the judges on last night's show.

"I danced the disco for Ashley because I love her so much," he revealed during an interview backstage. "She's doing okay."

He continued: "I'm just so blessed and thankful to have had that", adding that he hopes the viewers could tell "the dance comes from my heart".
