'V' casts Charles Mesure, Lexa Doig

Charles Mesure, who starred in Xena, Warrior Princess and Crossing Jordan, has landed the recurring role of Kyle Hobbes, a black ops expert who forms an unlikely alliance with the resistance.
Lexa Doig has joined as Valerie Stevens's obstetrician, and Nicholas Lea will play Erica's ex-husband, who re-enters her life at a crucial point within a two-episode arc.
V returns Tuesday, March 30 on ABC in the US and begins later this year on Sci Fi in the UK.
