'V' exec: 'Hobbes has divided loyalties'

The executive producer of V has revealed that Kyle Hobbes will have divided loyalties in the upcoming second season.

Scott Rosenbaum told Fancast that the character, played by Charles Mesure, would rejoin Erica's team but be forced to make a deal with the Visitor Marcus.

"His alliance will be tested," confirmed Rosenbaum.

He also explained that viewers would discover more about Sarah, Hobbes's old lover "whose disappearance sent him down his dark path".

"[That] gives him a personal stake in the fight against the Vs," he said. "We will see him at his most ruthless as he's driven to take down the Visitors and reunite with Sarah."

V is expected to return in November on ABC.
