Wade Allain Marcus joins 'Gossip Girl'

American Mall actor Wade Allain Marcus is to play a hipster photographer in The CW's Gossip Girl.

Marcus will take on the role of attractive and manipulative 19-year-old Max, who has ties to the New York fashion and art scenes, The Hollywood Reporter said.

The actor, who recently performed on MTV's movie-musical American Mall, will appear alongside Richard Gere, Don Cheadle, Wesley Snipes and Ethan Hawke in Antoine Fuqua's Brooklyn's Finest.

The second series of Gossip Girl premiered in the US at the start of the month.
