CW asks for more 'Gossip Girl', '90210'

The network recently handed two further episodes to Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage's drama, but has now asked for one more instalment, taking its sophomore season to 25 episodes.
Additionally, 90210 and One Tree Hill have received the go-ahead for two more episodes, meaning both seasons will run for 24 episodes.
One Tree Hill is now in its sixth year, while 90210 has maintained viewing figures of over 3 million in its debut year.
