According to Entertainment Weekly, the 22-year-old actor is currently filming the plot, which sees his character, Chuck Bass, kiss a newcomer called Josh Ellis (Neal Bledsoe).
The hook-up will apparently occur in episode six of the show's forthcoming third season when Blair asks her boyfriend to flirt with Josh - who is NYU's head of freshman affairs - to secure her the honour of delivering the freshman speech.
Gossip Girl returns to The CW on Monday, September 14.
