Savage told TV Guide that the duo, played by Ed Westwick and Leighton Meester, will interact in the future.
"We have some amazing Chuck and Blair scenes coming up in the next couple of episodes," she said.
"The Chuck and Blair relationship is really fun and something that wasn't in the books, but came out of Leighton and Ed's chemistry."
However, the show's creator Josh Schwartz acknowledged that some viewers would prefer Blair to have a relationship with Dan (Penn Badgley).
"There's only one way to satisfy all those people," he joked. "Threesome."
Meester has admitted that she would like to explore Dan and Blair's relationship because she enjoys working with Badgley.
