Nikita and Hart of Dixie are also getting a further season each, it has been confirmed.
It will be the sixth season for the Josh Schwartz teen drama starring Leighton Meester and Blake Lively.
Schwartz had further good news today (May 11) with the announcement that two of his pilots, The Carrie Diaries and Cult, have been picked up for full series by The CW.
Nikita, which stars Maggie Q, will be getting a third season.
Speaking about Nikita, Warner Bros' TV president Peter Roth said recently that he has seen every episode of the series, and described it as "spectacularly well-produced" with a "fantastic" cast.
"The production values are brilliant," he added. "The storytelling is remarkable. [But] the ratings are somewhat challenged."
Ringer and The Secret Circle have both been cancelled by the network.
