Gossip Girl: Chace Crawford, Blake Lively tweet photos from last show

Gossip Girl cast members have tweeted photos from the set of the show's final episode.

Chace Crawford and Blake Lively - who play Nate Archibald and Serena van der Woodsen in the CW drama - appeared in a series of celebratory pictures from the series finale.



Crawford is seen cutting into a large cake, while main cast members including Leighton Meester and Ed Westwick pose for a group shot.



Penn Badgley and Michelle Trachtenberg are also seen covered in cake after an on-set food fight.



Gossip Girl will end later this year after a ten-episode sixth season on The CW.

Leighton Meester recently said that the show is ending at a "perfect time", commenting that it was becoming "tedious".
