The Jersey Shore cast have said that they would love to return for a fourth season if the opportunity was offered.

During an appearance on CBS's Early Show yesterday, the stars - with the exception of Mike 'The Situation' Sorrentino who was not present - agreed that they would sign on for a fourth season if MTV approached them.

"We could do it until we were 90 years old too!" joked Nicole 'Snooki' Polizzi, while co-star Jenni 'JWoww' Farley said that they would be on board "100%".

The cast also spoke about their amazement that the show had become as successful as it has. "I think it's amazing," said Sammi 'Sweetheart' Giancola. 'We are all truly blessed and just taking it all in."

The second season wrapped its run on MTV last night, while filming on the show's third season was completed over the summer and the series's co-creator and executive producer SallyAnn Salanso recently teased that viewers can expect "plenty of drama" when the programme returns in January next year.
