Sammi later tells Mike that she doesn't know what's happening between her and Ron, prompting Mike to suggest that after what happened in Miami things probably won't get any better. Sammi privately seems to agree, saying: "I can maybe forgive but I'll never forget." Mike follows her upstairs to offer his support, and says that she needs to talk about what she's going through, but he doesn't realise Ronnie is listening at the door. Ronnie's furious that Mike is "playing both courts" by pledging his loyalty to both him and Sammi. He decides to hit the boardwalk in an attempt to cool down, unaware that Sammi is also heading there with Deena. Sammi later thinks she sees Ron talking to a girl so she decides to flirt with all guys, even swapping numbers with one. "I love single Sammi!" says Deena, as they chat with the men and do shots.
With everyone gathered in the kitchen that night, Ronnie decides that it's time to confront Mike about his apparent dual loyalties. "You played me out!" he shouts. Mike tries to explain that he was only advising them both to be single, although Ronnie says it's none of his business. It all descends into a war of words as the housemates look on nervously. Mike, however, has had enough and decides it's easier for him to "take the high road" and just apologise to ensure it doesn't end in a brawl, and he and Ronnie hug it out.
Unfortunately for the rest of the house, the fighting resumes when Ronnie and Sammi both try to use their room at the same time. They hurl insults at each other (Ronnie even says that he's booking the Smush Room that night) as Vinny and Pauly listen from downstairs. The fighting then intensifies as Ronnie starts throwing all Sammi's belongings onto the balcony. "I've seen them fight before but this was pretty serious," says Mike, who has to enter the warzone to retrieve his hat. He tries to intervene when he sees Ronnie attempting to remove Sam's bed from the room (with Sam still on it) and eventually calls for help from Pauly and Vinny. Together they separate the sparring couple, but the insults keep flying. Sam screams, "I hate you, I hate you, I hate you", as Ronnie shouts: "That's why I cheated on you in Miami!" Eventually the boys manage to separate the pair. "This was probably the worst fight I've ever seen," says Mike. "It was a five-car crash; horrible, but you can't keep your eyes off it."
Sam tells the girls that she doesn't want to live with "crazy psycho" Ronnie anymore, and predicts he will bring some other girl home that night to get back at her. Snooki and Deena think a night dancing will make her feel better, and also decide to move her bed into the girls' room to keep her away from Ronnie. Unfortunately, as Deena points out, it's difficult for two 4ft 9in girls to manoeuvre a bed. "The staircase is really small and the bed is really wide," explains Snooki. "It's kind of like an analogy of Vinny's penis not fitting in my pinhole."
Sammi arrives home solo and is stunned by the devastation. She sinks onto the floor of her room as she surveys the mess, and begins to cry when she retrieves her broken glasses from the midst of the chaos. She ventures outside to tearfully confront Ronnie. "Seriously, what the f**k?" she asks. "All my stuff is ruined. What makes that OK?" Ronnie doesn't seem apologetic, telling Sam that she embarrassed him that night. She retorts that he's embarrassed her more times in the past. "You showed your true colours," says Ronnie. "You disgust me in so many ways, don't ever talk to me again." He leaves Sam crying on the patio as he locks himself in the bathroom and also breaks down.
Meanwhile, amidst the drama, Jenni decides to treat Roger to a special night because he's leaving Seaside for a couple of weeks. After a dinner that is constantly interrupted by Roger's friends wanting to chat to him, she takes him home and dons her leather bondage outfit. "Jenni looks so hot," says Snooki. "Like porn star hot. If Roger wasn't here then I would probably have sex with her." Roger's equally impressed. "OK, let's go play," he says. "Can I watch?" shouts Snooki as they head to the Smush Room.
The next morning the evidence of Ronnie and Sammi's fight is everywhere. Sam gathers the girls in their room and tells them that she's decided to go home and recover from everything that has happened. "I need to move on from this kid quick and there is only one way to do that - I need to go." She then tells Ronnie about her decision. They both become tearful as they hug goodbye, and Ronnie retreats to the balcony he littered with his ex-girlfriend's belongings as she disappears into a cab and leaves...
