This week's episode opens with Mike left home alone with JWoww's dogs. He decides to play a prank and make it look like the puppies broke out of the pen, watching as they chew pizza from the garbage bag, eat peanut butter from the floor and leave their business everywhere. "Now I can sit back and watch the master plan ensue!" he says.

The girls are less impressed when they arrive home and have to run around picking up poop from every room, while Mike pretends to sleep. But he's busted when Deena notices that one of the dogs smells like Mike's clothes!

Vinny and Pauly, who have been off visiting Vinny's family in Staten Island, arrive home just in time for a night out at Karma. Snooki meets a Pauly-look-alike called Nick, who bandages her when she falls over on the way home with him, which leads to a good night for both. "I'm pretty impressed with how he took care of me and my knee and because of that, he's getting it in," she says. Meanwhile, Ronnie and Sammi make out, but the latter immediately regrets it: "I was drunk and let my guard down."

The next day Vinny decides it's time to get a spray tan because he's "tired of being compared to a ghost". He showers, exfoliates and heads to the salon, where he strips to his briefs. "Oh my God, I'm a different race!" he says afterwards. "I look like a fist-pumping guido!" Drama ensues on the way home when JWoww notices Roger's car in front of them, but when she tries to pull up alongside it, he veers away. Ronnie suspects there is another girl in the car, while Vinny can tell Jenni is "fuming". She immediately calls Roger when she gets home, leaving an angry voicemail: "I guess I'm done for right now. Call me back if you want to explain yourself. Bye." The group try to dissect what happened with Roger - who hasn't called back - over dinner. JWoww mentions that Roger told her about a haircut he was getting, to which everyone immediately shouts: "That's why he didn't call back!"

The girls versus boys prank war continues later that night with the help of some waterballoons (although Vinny is hiding because he's just been spray tanned). The girls start the action but the boys quickly gain the upper hand, cornering their housemates and pelting them with water. It soon becomes a messy free-for-all, with everyone wearing black garbage bags for protection, but the fun is interrupted by a call for Jenni from Roger.

"It's a long story and I feel like a big ass right now," she tells him. He wants an explanation, and wonders if she's trying to just create drama. "You know it's not true!" he says. "Can you give me a little room to breathe from now on?" JWoww later admits that, although she thought Roger would just be a rebound, she's starting to develop real feelings for him.

The next morning Ronnie tells Sam that he wants to work things out. Sammi admits that she's fallen hard for him again over the past week and isn't sure if she should walk away from it. She's scared, but he wants to prove to her he's not the same person. Snooki, however, doesn't seem impressed, and worries that Fun Sammi will disappear. Sammi is adamant that won't happen, and says that she wants to stay with the girls in their room. Jenni predicts more arguments, and she's right…

The fighting resumes after Mike meets a guy called Arvin at the club that night. Arvin says that Sammi's been texting him and even arranged to meet him that night. He produces the text message evidence, and Mike immediately lets Jenni into the secret. Word soon spreads to Vinny, Pauly, Snooki and Deena, before Snooki decides she needs to warn Sammi before Mike has a chance to tell Ronnie. Sammi, however, denies all knowledge and immediately storms away to confront Arvin.

She tells him that he's only her friend, but is distracted by Ronnie who wants to go to the bathroom. She tries to stop him, insisting that he needs to hear this, but he's not interested. They get into a heated argument, with Ronnie saying he had a chance to "bring the hottest girl in the club home" last week but he didn't. "The thing that's making me mad is the fact that Sam went home and one day later hit up some guy," he privately says. Sam remains firm that she hasn't done anything wrong, and accuses Mike of stirring up drama.

The group begin to filter home, and Vinny and Pauly seem excited about the prospect of a huge blow-out. "I'm going to sit on the couch with some popcorn and watch this movie!" says Pauly. Unfortunately for him, it's initially anti-climactic as Ron and Sam sit in stony silence across the room from each other. "It's like when you pay for a Pay Per View fight and the guy gets knocked out in one second," laments Vinny.

Eventually Sam breaks the silence: "I think Mike is the shadiest person in this house." Mike, however, disagrees, saying that he was just passing on information. "You need to get a life and stop starting drama!" she shouts at him. Mike says he was following guy code and sticking up for Ron, before Ronnie himself gets involved and a verbal war ensues. He screams that Sam is a shady person; she accuses him of being an idiot; he says he cried over her when she was texting other guys; she says she left Seaside because of him… Eventually Sam storms off to the bedroom but Ron follows and the argument continues. "If this relationship continues, I will kill myself," says Pauly, as the housemates listen to the drama…
