Members of the "core group" will be paid "at least" $100,000 (£60,000), taking into account MTV's bonus structure, according to Entertainment Weekly.
The salary marks a huge pay rise for the stars, who all recently finalised their contracts for next season, which is due to be filmed in Italy. They were apparently paid $10,000 an episode for season 2 after demanding a raise.
The report adds that the group's personal appearances and product endorsements away from the show boosts their respective incomes, meaning that Michael 'The Situation' Sorrentino earns around $5m a year.
Two Jersey Shore spinoffs were recently confirmed - one starring Nicole 'Snooki' Polizzi and Jenni 'JWoww' Farley and the other featuring Pauly 'Pauly D' Delvecchio.
